Your school will earn $3.50 per pack of cards you sell. Although it is a new part of my business (Kathy Fick Designs), I have already received a lot of positive feedback from the parents who have participated in this idea.
There are two ways to approach this fundraiser:
The children create their artwork during school and the school only sends out order forms (provided by me) to the families. You will provide me with the artwork and other criteria dealing with the artwork, the order forms and the payment. Parents will NOT see the artwork that their child has done until they see the final product. (Unless you choose to show it to them first). THIS WAY HAS PROVED TO BE THE BEST APPROACH.
OR, you will send out envelopes that will have order forms and a “Helpful Hints” paper in them (provided by me), and the individual families will send their child’s artwork, order form and payment back to you. REMEMBER, siblings may also be included in this fundraiser.
The 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” folded cards will be printed with the child’s artwork on the front of the card. There will also be a colored border (color chosen by me) around the picture. The back of the card will have the title of the picture, the child’s name, the school’s name, and year.
The cards will come in packs of ten. The cost is $11.00 per pack of 10 cards/envelopes. Each pack will be in a cellophane wrapper, tied with a decorative ribbon.
This is a great gift idea as well as a wonderful keepsake. The children are so excited when they see the final product and are very proud of their work. It is a wonderful thing to see.
The nice thing about this fundraiser is that you will be dealing with one person. I am also a pre-school teacher and have my home based business in the Towson, MD area. If you choose to do this fundraiser, we will set up a deadline date for orders and I will give you a delivery date. (Usually 3-4 weeks after the order deadline) I will provide you with all of the necessary forms, and “Helpful Hints” for the artwork. The orders will be individually packed and delivered to your school on our pre-scheduled delivery date. All you have to do is pass them out!
The payments will be made out to “Kathy Fick Designs” because it is the name of my “main” business. I will accept, cash, checks, Master Card and Visa. I will present you with your check at the time of delivery. FUNDRAISERS HELD IN STATES OTHER THAN MARYLAND CLICK HERE.
